Subject: 50-Day re-employment rule increased to 95 days for some OTPP retirees until June 30, 2023

Following months of advocacy to the Ontario Teachers’ Federation, we are pleased to deliver an agreement that expands access to retired educators to 95 days.

I want to thank all partners for working together with our Ministry to advocate for this needed extension. Our priority remains keeping students learning in class without disruption -- critical to their academic success and mental health.
