Volunteer Project Contributor: Expression of Interest

The Ontario Principals’ Council (OPC) and the Principal Association Projects (PAP), a service partner of the OPC, is seeking highly qualified OPC Members as volunteer project contributors for a variety of projects, including projects supported by the Ministry of Education. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced school and system leaders to share their leadership knowledge and experience to contribute to the professional growth and learning of their colleagues across the province.

We are committed to supporting school leaders throughout the education system. As such, we seek input from diverse sources to identify, design, develop and deliver the learning and support needs of our Members and colleagues. The OPC and PAP recognize the value of job-embedded learning, sharing practices and the distributed leadership model of school leaders sharing with other school leaders. We aim to ensure that professional learning offerings are equitable and provided within accessible environments, free from discrimination and harassment.

The projects and programming that OPC and PAP develop vary in scope and duration. The involvement of project contributors would vary accordingly, and may involve attending planning meetings/ focus groups, acting as a podcast or webinar interviewee/panelist, or contributing written content for the development of project resources, websites or social media. As such, we are seeking to develop a roster of potential project contributors who will add diverse practitioner perspectives to these projects. Project contributors would be Members in good standing, and have demonstrated experience and informed knowledge in a variety of leadership domains and commitment to human rights, equity and inclusion.
