We continue to engage in public advocacy on behalf of our Members. Check out our Principal Profile and our Did You Know campaigns, both designed to raise the profile of the OPC and our Members, and to help the public better understand who we are and the important role we play in schools.
EDI Update
Save the Date – on May 22-23, we are partnering with Chris D'Souza of Diverse City Strategies to host a conference on Supporting Educators and Administrators Engaged in Equity Work. Themes will include retention, mentorship and recruitment of under-represented identities into leadership.
Affinity groups for Members are continuing. Information and links to meetings can be found on our website. The following groups are meeting in the next few weeks and other dates will be added as meetings are confirmed.

Seeking the Voice of our Retired Members
We are looking to gather a group of retired principals and vice-principals who are interested in providing input into the needs of individuals who have moved into retirement. If you are a recently retired OPC principal or vice-principal Member on Term Assignment and would like to engage in these conversations, please send a brief email of introduction to aosborne@principals.ca prior to January 25th.
