We offer a variety of workshops in various formats to meet administrators’ needs. We welcome partnerships with school boards and Local OPC associations to customize workshops to meet your needs on a variety of topics of interest. The level of customization can vary, and our team will work with you to create learning that is relevant to your local context. Professional learning Guiding Principles drive all planning, development and delivery.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

 Timely and relevant learning on a broad range of topics connected to human rights, anti-oppression and equity leadership (e.g., identity and leadership, facilitating necessary conversations, pedagogical practices, etc.).

Employee and Membership Services

Workshops focused on services and supports for Members, providing comprehensive overview of OPC benefits coverage (long-term disability, optional life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment), disability management and wellness resources, and how to access and utilize such resources.

Professional Learning

Professional Learning workshops include standard topics connected to school leadership (e.g., inclusive education, mentoring, instructional leadership, etc.) and can also be customized to meet the needs of groups and districts.

Protective Services

A variety of workshops related to employment-related issues (e.g., disputes, complaints, investigations, discipline), relevant legislation (e.g., the Education Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Human Rights Code), and regulatory issues (the College of Teachers).
